My Boys!

Ok guys, this is the first time I've posted my boys on here. I've always been too scared to do it for fear of the negative comments... They are my babies! Tell me what you think!!

Rocket: 14 year old Paso/Paint cross (INCREDIBLE gait, sweetheart of a horse!) He has his tongue sticking out!! Great pic...

Cimmarron's Painted Knight (AKA ...SLICK!) 10 year old Missouri Fox Trotter (MY DREAM HORSE)

Charley: 17 year old BOMBPROOF, beginner safe, Quarter Horse (we rescued him, so he needs some weight) He is my 7 year old's horse

Usually you put topics in the pictures forum, but sometimes the MODS move it. No worries though!

I love your horses! Do you have any videos of your Fox Trotter? I would love to see his gait!

Very beautiful horses!! How did you come to rescue the last one?

Have you hugged your horse today?

Actually I don't have any videos....hmmm, but you have my mind going (maybe this weekend! hehehe!) His gait is out of this world. My husband says he's a cadillac compared to the chevy of a horse that we have! (Charley)

Rocket is also gaited. I NEVER thought I'd own a gaited horse!! I was raised with Quarter horse.... my Dad would roll over in his grave if he knew I owned 2 gaited horses!! "Real men ride Quarter horses!" he always said!

Charley is a retired Ranch horse. He was placed in a rescue program when the ranch foreclosed. 100 horses out of a job...guess people really don't think of it that way!

Thanks for the compliments! Charley will be great also when he gets more weight on. My daughter overheard me telling my mom that he was "the ugliest horse ever"...she quickly reminded me how beautiful he was....eye of the beholder, I guess. She's so proud of him!

They are all very beautiful I really like the shade of your QH. Is he red dun? I think your paint is well marked and your paso is just plain cute

I think he is a sorrel, because he would have the dorsal stripe. But I can't exactly see. My favorite is the first one. I do like blazes.

Thanks, Feather...Yes, Charley the QH is red dunn. He has a dorsal stripe but you can't see it in the pic. Good eye though! Wasn't sure how I felt about the color, but I'm growing to really love it.

Thanks, Harlee! I love Blazes as well. He's my special horse. Absolutely stunning with 4 white stockings. He's handsome and he knows it. Do you have horse like that? Kind-of arrogant? I'll try to get pics and a video.

Slick the Fox Trotter/ spotted saddle horse is quite a character. He is double registered. AMAZING is the only word for him. Unfortunately, 2 nights ago he colicked. He has been under vet care ever since. Extreme case. Anyone ever experienced a case where organs are starting to shut down? He's now on the road to recovery but we thought we were going to lose him for a while! WHEW!!

No my horse is just a big teddy bear. He's the kind that will do whatever you want to the best of his ability but you have to let him run a lot or he gets hyped up because he's a barrel horse. So no he's not really arrogant or cocky I guess. But I'm sure my horse like that will come along.
