    My buddies =] (pic heavy)

So, these are not my horses, but my riding instructors, but a few of them might as well be mine, as I have been riding them for the past 8 years. =] Just wanted to share... =]

Nali, she's an 11 year old, 15.5hh Quarter Horse. She's one of my favorites, she can jump up to 2', and is quite fast, and very good at maneuvering. =]

Johnny, he's my buddy. ^_^ He's an Appaloosa, 18 years(same age as me), ~16hh and is a wonderful jumper, although can be quite flighty and spooky at times.

Molly, she's 32 this year and about 14hh, the sweetest horse in the world, you can put anyone on her, and she'll respond to voice commands only. I learned how to ride on her 8 years ago, then she got ran into by a 4-wheeler at a barn she used to be boarded at, and almost had to be put down, although now she's doing quite well thanks to monthly acupuncture treatments. =]

Shiloh, she's an 16.5hh 11 year old Anglo-Arab mare. She's such a brat, although very talented, and has been known to jump 6' snowdrifts. Working on re-enforcing her training as she has been sick off and on in the past few years with Founder and other illnesses.

Sunny, he's 9 about 17hh, dual registered as a Palomino and Quarter Horse. He's a rescue, in April 2008 was about 300lb under weight, and had a fear of females, as he had been severely abused. I have been working with him a lot in the past year, and am proud to say he no longer bucks like he used to, and trusts me the most out of anyone he's worked with. =] He's looking to be a great jumper.

Hehe, I agree! He's very big and intimidating to be around at first, but his looks win almost anyone over, and once you get to know him and ride him, you can't help but love him! ^_^ These pics of him really don't do him justice though...I need to get some more recent ones as these were taken about a year ago, he looks so much nicer now...his mane has taken on a nice wave. ^^

Omg.... I am so stealing- oh! I mean um... erm, petting Johnny. Haha. He is so handsome! Has he always been spooky? Has he been checked for moonblindness? That is very common in the Appaloosa bloodlines. They tend to get poor eyesight at they get older. My boyfreind's mom's horse was an appy, died at age 25, but had horrible moonblindness!

My 21 year old appy has it too, thought not very severe yet.

Haha! Good luck with that!! He is really awesome, isn't he? I love him so much! He was fine until my instructor sold his mother...then he kinda started to flip out from time to time. He's fine for most of the time, but at times will be incredibly spooky, and will shy away at the weirdest things. I had a bad fall off him about 2 years ago, he spooked at a mouse, and took off with me at a gallop...and I flew. But if you know how to keep him under control and relaxed, about 95% of the time he's a perfect ride.
