    Every time we body clip her, her coat comes back in a different color. Right now, she is a red bay with her winter coat. One year, she came out mostly a bay roan, another time she was a really dark bay. And she lightens up to this light bay when she is freshly clipped. Does anyone else's horses change color?

    I've never had a horse do that but I'm sure it is possible since it happens with people!

    Gorgeous horses! You are to be commended! I also like the fact that you buy older horses and ride them in show...AND they do well! All of my horses are above 11 and it's sometimes looked down upon here....I say, let the old folks ALONE!
