Kinda makes you wonder how we all survived youthhood with rank half-broke farm stock don't it? LOL Maybe we're all zombies?

Absolutely adorable pics. Kudos to you for having a pony her size. I know horses can be just as gentle, but at least she's only got five inches to the ground if she does fall. Aren't those pony ride ponies just worth their weight in gold?

I couldn't agree with you more LOL I started off on a crazy hot arab!! I would never wish that on my little girl LOL thought for the first 5 minutes I was a nervous wreck wondering if he'd be ok... It just goes to show you... some of the BEST things in life ARE free!! He was given to us!!

Yes , there is something about kids and their ponies..My daughter learned to ride on a very aged gray Arab cross pony but she was a gem! I remember one winter about 2 yrs ago she was riding in the snow on this little gray pony singing Jingle Bells at the top of her lungs.....Isnt great that we can share our love for horses with our kids?
Kids and their ponies = Priceless : )

Horses and children, I often think, have a lot of the good sense there is in the world.

Aww such a sweet story!! I think thats my favorite part! No one ever forgets their first horse/pony and I know she will be addicted for life :)
