My ex-race horse :)

Hello everyone!! I need to share these photos with everyone I bought my horse in May 2010 and was told that he was a race horse by the name of Wolfman Jack. I have spent months searching for photos of him, with no luck. I found out that he won three races though. There was no school on Monday, so I literally spent the whole day on the internet searching; I emailed photographers, the racetracks he raced at, and his trainer. The first photo I found was when I typed his trainers name into facebook and Jack came up as her profile picture!!

Then I went to a website called racingsports.com.au and found two little photos of him parading in the Strawberry Hill Stud Slipper Day in 2004 - ridden by Hugh Bowman

Some emails came back saying to go to Bradley's Photographers. So I went there and typed in Jack's name and came up with this photo of him racing in March 2009, in the race where he later injured his two front feet, but he was okay. Ridden by Chantelle Johnson.

After that I emailed them and asked if they had any others and they emailed back with this:

I have seperated them all so here they are:

Enjoy!!!

That's awesome! I've heard it's hard to find racing info in Australia, but you seemed to have managed pretty well

That is fantastic you were able to find some action shots of him!

How is he going for you? What sort of riding are you doing with him?

Thanks everyone!!

GreenTreeFrog he is going fantastically! He is giving to the bit, responding to weight aids and is full of respect now. I don't know whether you know our history together, but it has had lots of ups and downs. He used to be very pigrooty and buck a lot, and be disrespectful in many other ways; none of which were to do with health. But we have come so far! We haven't had a pigroot in months and he's being an angel :) I mostly just ride for pleasure, but maybe with a lot of work and training, we may show some day.

I was going to go to the local horse show with him, but he has injured his leg and is out of work for about 10 weeks now with bandages and all sorts of remedies, and I'm so sad that I haven't seen him since, because I am at my Mum's in Sydney and he is at a friend's place four hours away and I miss him so much and I have to trust that my dad and my friend (who is also our trainer) will look after him the best they can, and I'm sure they will, but I have trust issues with my animals. :(

Anyway, I'm sorry about that, don't mean to rant :)

yeah, I agree, the jockey looks like a kid I only found Jack's pictures because he won a few races, but you might get lucky!! You should email the race courses Buzz raced at and you never know what might come up! They're all really helpful and nice. I emailed about 6 or 7 different places :) It's definitely worth the effort :)
