Well, I'm in college as many of you know so I don't get to see my horses very often. I'm on spring break right now so I am at home spending some time with them finally. I have a few pictures and a couple of videos of them from my first two days here.
Hunter likes to brush himself.
They got wormed. Scooter wasn't happy.
Scooter lost some weight over the winter but is slowly gaining it back finally!
Yep thats pretty cute having a horse that will brush himself, but what I want to know is... Do you think you'll have that tractor put back together by the time you go back to school? And what kind of way is that to spend spring break? Aren't you suppose to be on a beach someplace instead of in all that snow?
Hahaha that is what everyone keeps telling us! But we both love it here. I would rather be here with my horses spending time on the farm than on a beach somewhere. 70's would be nice..but I can deal with the 10*F temps. Today was real nice though..it was about 55*F. My mom and I went car shopping! The BF said he would rather turn a wrench than do anything else. So, I guess it works for us hehe
My dad and boyfriend got the tractor back together as much as they can. They finally figured out what was wrong with it yesterday and had to order parts. Some part has to come from England........so hopefully order that Monday and then have it here for next weekend (doubtful). But another part that we need will be here Monday so we will come back Friday night.
Karinna..... that is too adorably funny!!!! Haha.... that made my night! Hunter is sooo cute. Great pics and vids!
PS - Is it really hard being away from your horses? This coming September I'm going away to school as well for teacher's college and am not looking foward to missing Jubilee. Luckily I'll be home every couple weeks or so for classroom placement. But at times I will be away from home for 5 weeks.
And yes, it is kind of hard being away from them. I've gotten used to it, but it still stinks. I'm only an hour away but I often don't get home for weeks at a time. Needless to say, Hunter needs some work still because of that!
I just keep reminding myself that it's good for the long run. This way I will get a decent job and have enough money to play with horses forever lol.
