Smile My First Bareback Ride on Thumper!

So I am very excited today because this morning I rode Thumper bareback for the first time! I haven't ridden bareback in over 5 years on any horse, so it's so much fun to be able to do that again. Thumper was SUCH a good boy for me! I rode him with a saddle for the first 40 minutes and then cooled him off bareback. I was sooo excited! Okay so here are the pictures from my ride...

Cody who I used to ride...

The bridles all lined up :)...

Warming Thumps up...

At the trot...

Bareback!

Mr. Doofus...

My handsome man ...

Sorry there are so many pictures, I am just so excited! My dad is making fun of me because I was smiling the whole twenty minutes. I only walked with him and a little trotting, but it was still really fun. Haha the barn manager rode her 18hh draft gelding (who is only 8) bareback so this feels kind of insignificant lol. Thanks for looking!

Does Cody have spots all over him?! He sure is a pretty guy!

Thumps looks great as well! Are you leasing him or do you own him? I rode my hubby's stallion last year bareback when he only had 12 rides on him. I nearly hit the dust! LOL

Yeah, Cody does have spots. He gets more and more every year. I can't remember what it's called when they get that, though. I don't lease Thumper, but I do senior rides on him which is where you take a test and then can just ride the horse on your own.

Both gorgeous horses, I love Cody's spots. Looks heaps of fun. :)

It is not enough for a man to know how to ride; he must know how to fall.
