My first horse!

I don't have many "horsey" friends, so not many people to show off my first horse too! Trying not to annoy all my Facebook friends or Instagram friends, so I thought I would share some pictures here, where you all would hopefully not mind ;)

Here he is in April 2013 when I first met him:

Here he was when I went back again to visit right after New Years 2014:

And here he was yesterday, after finalizing up his sale!:

(Trying on his bitless bridle, practicing some bending and one rein stops, and resting).

I love him! Thinking of naming him Roo.... actually, I am pretty settled on it!
(also, slightly freaking out and nervous about being a horse owner!)

No idea why some pictures are sideways...

He looks like a nice horse, but both halter and bridle are WAY too low... one tug from him against the rein can mean a broken nose..

Not my picture, but this would be a much better position for the bridle, and the halter goes about the same height up his nose... and bridle is buckled nice and snug, not having the cheek straps loose and twisted..

Good luck with him :)

I thought they were! But the owner was the one that put them on. Thanks!

When I said I thought they were - I mean I thought the bridle and halter looked too low! Very weird, since I bought him from a dealer of the bitless bridles (and someone who is also a horse trainer, equine dentist, and farrier). Odd... I will adjust it.
