my first horsey beach trip! :)

For my birthday my 2 friends and I took our horses to the beach! They all did amazing! The other 2 needed some convincing to get in my horse just hoped right in and it helped get them in alot quicker lol. Im so proud of all of them! There were people swimming, standing on shore, fishing, kiyakingm, there were boats and dogs, and all the horses handled is amazingly well!!!

My cousin came down also and took some pictures (some being used lightly as she took over 300 in total lol), she has started her own photography business, but this is her first time doing horses. I think they turned out fantastic!!!! She went on vacation shortly after tho, and will go though them when she gets back, and send the 3 of us CD's with the final pictures :) But in the mean time she send me 5 pictures to hold us over lol

The part of the beach we went to was really shallow, we were walkng beside boats and it was only chest deep on them. But apparently farther down the beach theres a spot that gets gradually deeper so were going to see if we can go back this summer and check that out :)

You're in Ontario?! Which beach/lake did you go to? I've always wanted to do this but I don't know which beach allows horses. Looks like you had a blast and the pictures are great!

Great pictures :). I'm so jealous, there is absolutely no place for me to go beach riding in Saskatoon :(. Looks like a lot of fun, and all three horses are beautiful.

Thanks everyone , we all had a great time:) My horse loved the water and kept splashing and blowing bubbled lol I can[t wait to take him back! And I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures either! I'll be sure to post some when I get them!

Aiya, we went to Crystal beach around Fort Errie. Well we didn't go to the actual crystal beach since you have to pay to get in, and they wouldn't allow horses in there, but if you drive past it down the road more you can find little parking lots, and people take there dogs there, and boats there, and fish etc. Its concrete until you get into the water though (then its alllll sand) so if your horse has shoes just be careful they don't slip. Ours handled it fine with front shoes, but we lead them in and then got on there. Its really shallow really far out and you can ride beside boats etc. its a neat experience :)

Wow, those are REALLY nice pictures! You should get some of them framed, they're quite lovely. Looks like all six of you had fun as well, great way to spend a hot afternoon.

Yes when I get all the pictures I intend to get a few printed and framed :) and it was amazingly fun! All the horses seemed to enjoy it, or at least deal with it, other then mine. Who wouldn't stop splashing if we weren't moving lol the others probably thought he was nuts heehee

Oh that's awesome! That's close for me, I'm pretty much in between lake Ontario and lake Erie! I will definitely be planning a beach trip :) Thanks for letting me know where the beach is!
