My first time on a pony

I'm a proud mum and here is my 5 yr old daughter on her birthday having her first lesson.
Lesson one was turning, walking, stopping, trotting and weaving between the cones (she did not miss one cone) and no lead rope.
The pony is seven years old and 13. 3" hands. She did really well, it was her first time riding.

She wakes up very day asking if it's her riding lesson day.
She has had three lessons now. She sits and practices her moves on a sit on toy dog at home. Bless she is hooked.
I want to get her trained up so she can come out with me in a few years down the forest.

Great photos! Honestly it looks like it's second nature to her - I don't see any worry on her face at all.

That's awesome! She really does look quite comfortable, not nervous at all! :)
