My Friend's Appies

Hi Everyone!

While Velvet is pregnant, a very good friend of mine has been letting me work with some of her appies.

I used to own an appy before I got Velvet and I totally love them!

I am showing one of her youngsters inhand at Appaloosa Nationals later this month!! Can't WAIT!!!

They are:

Peppadew - Mare - "pink" near leopard
Sahara - Mare - Chestnut Leopard (SA CHAMP)
StormFinder - Colt - Dreamfinder grandson
Sequin - Mare - Fewspot
Lily - VERY pregnant mare - Chocolate blanket (SA CHAMP)

They are all pretty =] Have a lot of quarter horse in them though. Dreamfinder was pretty much a quarter horse with spots xD But a lot of people like Appaloosa's like that.

But, I would steal Sequin... er, I mean, um.... pet her.

Lol Actually the only one who has QH in him (Except for REALLY, REALLY, REALLY far back) is Stormfinder.

The rest are all as pure appy as they could possibly be. The lady who owns them doesn't like alot of QH in the lines and breeds as pure as possible. :)

I meant StormFinder. I found DreamFinders pedigree online. He was mostly quarter but then I saw that Stormfinder was a grandson. So, yeah, that's totally awesome! That's how I like my Appys too =]

Which ones are you showing? When is Lily dues? I wanna see the baby!!! =]

Hi Guys!!

Lily had her baby quite a few weeks ago now, he's a colt and is called Okavango.

Here is a pic of him (not with me) when he was about 3 days old. :)
