My New Filly

I'm new around this forum, and didn't know where to start so I guess I'll start here. My name is Grace, I'm 15, and I recently rescued a filly who is now 9-months. Also, she is my first horse. Tricky I know, but I'm awfully persistent.

She's been causing a bit of trouble lately, but we all understand that she's being a kid. However, the problems need to be corrected ASAP and we are currently looking for a local trainer. But that's for a different thread...

Dolly Madison Levi is a pretty 9-month filly. We've been told she's a Morab--Morgan/Arab breed. She was a black baby but is starting to turn to a dark chocolate color with 3 black stockings, one fleabitten satocking and a pretty white star. Her mane/tail is black with red tips. She's a lovely girl, though I'm not sure about her conformation. Again, she's my first, and I know nothing about horse conformation. Her rear's a little high and definitely has whatever Morgan is in her and her neck is very long and thin, but that's all I could tell you. The pictures don't quite do her justice, but you get the basic idea.

She's quite a character and is going to be a very good horse once she settles down.

Your little girl is lovely! What a cute face! Conformation-wise, you can't really say much right now because she's so young. But she does look butt-high and her back is quite long, especially for a Morgan, but who knows, maybe she'll straighten out as she gets older. I just love her face though. Congrats!!

She's beautiful, such a pretty face. Like Jubilee says, its hard to say much about her conformation, with her being so young. Dont worry about her being butt high, it'll all even out as she matures. :)

Welcome to the Horseforum Grace.

Congrats on the new horse! Babies are the best! As much as I think I'm going to take a long break before buying another one, I love babies. Good for you!
She's a cutie
