My new guy, Dakota!

This is my anniversary gift from my husband! We found this guy up for sale after calling about another horse. We went to see him yesterday and he is perfect! He's a 4 year old, Spotted Racking Horse. I can't wait to get him home! We driving back up to pick him up on Saturday! These pics were taken on my cell, and it was raining, so they really do him no justice at all.







I'm hoping the rain will hold off a day this week and I can go back up to see him and get a few more pics...

LOL. I gotta admit, I gotta good husband. He knows how bad I wanted to get another after we retired my mare a couple years ago. This horse seems perfect though, and I was lookin' for a Racking Horse that wasn't really big, since I'm pretty short...lol.

Well only sounds like a win/win situation then LOL our husbands know in order for them to be happy we have to be happy LOL
