My New Lease Mare, Acapella

This is my pretty buckskin Pella, my new lease mare!

Pella is an 11 year old, 15.1hh (or so) Friesian Appendix Cross mare. She's a sweetheart and a comfortable ride, though she is a little spoiled and needs work on her ground manners which we are working on daily. Right now her biggest things are being herdbound to her full brother (which a friend is leasing) and being tied! In just the week I've had her however, we've made good progress I'd like to think. She has certainly taught me a lot in a very short amount of time and I hope to continue to learn with this mare. She and I both have areas to improve in. Fortunately I have great friends and an awesome instructor to give me advice!

If all works out- if she becomes a good match for me and if my current career continues to allows me the time- I might choose to purchase this girl! But for now I am full leasing her, which is working out great so far!
