I honestly do not know her history. From my understanding - her previous owners got her when she was pastured next to their horses and then her owner at the time quit paying board for her. A lot of her background information was lost at that point and if she had papers they were not passed on. All I know is there is a possible dressage background on her - but they didn't know for sure because they don't know anything about dressage, just knew she was a good trail horse.
I did finally get her out on the trails yesterday and was simply thrilled at how wonderful she did. Very light and responsive to the bit/seat and leg cues. Nice leg yeilds even. Makes me think she has had dressage training and would love someone who has more knowledge in that area to try her out and see what she can do. The other horse we were with was a bit fresh and tried to take off and spooked a couple times and she ignored his antics.
Hopefully next time we get out on the trail I will remember to grab the camera and get some new pics!
