My orphan..then and now.

Just wanted to share some new pics. This is the orphan I was given in July.

The first pic was taken at 3 months old.

This is her today. She's been with me 3 months today.

Wallaby, smrobs, AnnaLover and 7 others like this.

PD, she's gorgeous!! It's truly amazing what just a bit of time and TLC can do for them.

How is it you always end up with such stunningly colored horses? Duns and grullos and palis? Makes me think my pasture looks too bland LOL.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Those people didn't know what they were giving away - though I am glad she went to you, since you have more expericence and could give her the life she needed. She is STUNNING.

I do love my duns...and my pocket pally. (though she's 14.3 this year! ) I love the color, but temperment and how well they learn means more. (and how much I can manage to teach them!) But, I'm done. My stable doors are closed. I want to have a couple of real good broke horses and not always having to "start" someone.
