My OTTB - Finally starting to improve

My OTTB Cumani came off the track in January 2012. Since then he has lost a lot of weight due to his let down and ulcers but has finally settled at his new yard and is starting to pick up some weight. As soon as his work load increases and his muscles build up again that ewe neck will be looking much better! Nonetheless I am very proud of him and I love him to death!

He has started some liberty work and was having some play time in our round pen!

Summer coats are on their way now for us!

Thanks, it's a real uphill battle getting him through the whole let down phase and to pick up weight. It has been worth every cent though. He really is a special horse with a fantastic nature. Having to move yards put extra pressure on him and he took a while to fit in with the others so lost even more weight. But he has turned a corner now and is starting light work to start building muscle.
