My pony thinks he's a show champion...

So today I bought my sweet little Shetland Pony a set of jumping boots and I'll admit it, it was just because they were too cute to pass up. So of course I had to try them on him as soon as we got home. Nippa hasn't had a set of boots on before as far as I am aware, so took my fumblings to get them on him like a real champ. Especially seeing as I didn't put them on right (at least not the back ones!)

Anyway, I thought I would share a couple of photos that show you just how full of himself my little boy is. First one is just for the cute factor -

This second one really shows his ego off. All we did is lift his head, everything else is just Nippa through and through. Every time he stops, he's either perfectly square, or parked out

Isn't he just the cutest little fluffball!

    /end ramblings

Thanks Speedy! I really couldn't resist with the little boots. He doesn't need them just yet being as he isn't even started under saddle yet, but they were just too adorable to pass up!

And I quite like this Saxon rug too! I can't say I have ever used any other ones (the big guys have all got weatherbeetas or eurohunters), but this little Saxon rainsheet as held up really well all winter! Will definitely last a couple more winters at this rate.

Awwwww, what a cutie! I love how he's standing, little showoff lol. My training project Shetland, Shorty sometimes stands like that too! Maybe it's a Shetland thing? I'll get pictures as soon as possible

    Haha Maybe,

Nippa seems to only know 2 ways to stand - square or parked out haha. Training him up for in hand classes shouldn't be too difficult!
