Buttermilk is my rare champagne QH gelding!!! I love him sooo much!!! He's 15 years old and definitely doesn't act his age. I traded my Thoroughbred gelding (Karakorum Gump "Thunder") and my Paint pony gelding (Sarg) for him. When I first saw him, my friend Randall had picked up 4 horses from her cousin and was bringing them to her farm and wanted me to be there to pick one out!!! As soon as he stepped out of the trailer, I could not take my eyes off of him, I've never seen a horse with that color!!! I picked him right away and wanted to see if he would ride good b/c Randall said her cousin hadn't ridden those horses in like 2 yrs. We brought him to the roundpen, first Randall rode him and he did good, then I got on him and (I've never been on a more well-trained horse than he was) he loped real slow and easy without me even askin!!! Ever since he got to the farm everyone knew that those horses were for sale (except Buttermilk b/c he's the one I picked; but they didn't know that) and everyone kept sayin they wanted that "yellow" one. Randall had to tell somebody like 3 times that he was sold to me and they still didn't want to believe her!!!
