No problem! I think I need to get me on of these big guys now! That mane and tale must be a handfull to look after though. Did you train him to drive yourself?

Well, the mane and tail are a job!!! He had sweet itch the last couple of summers and rubbed out most of his mane!!! He's on supplements now so he won't rub it out!!! Can you believe it a Friesian without a mane!!!! Then, one of our goats ate part of his tail!!!! He would reach through the fence and pull out mouthfuls of tail!!! I was so mad when I saw his tail!!! Needless to say we no longer have the goat!!! He went to my mother-in-laws and is happily eating her horses tails! His tail is about back to normal. Almost touching the ground! His mane and tail are really hard to comb out - very coarse!!

I did not train him to drive. The last picture is taken with the man that did the training. He is an Amish man and he did a wonderful job with Taeke. Taeke isn't broke to ride. Although I hope to fix that this summer! He is such a sweet boy I'm sure I won't have any problems putting a saddle on him. You would NEVER know he is a stud!! He is such a cuddle bunny!!!!

Thanks again for all your kind words!!!

Aww...poor boy lost his mane and tail! :( Don't you just hate that! We don't have goats, thanks goodness, but our foals always chew our mares manes out. Two of my mares still don't have forlocks from last year yet, and the babies will be here soon, yikes!

I hope for you sake you do get him broke to ride, I hear that they are superb riding horses. Lots of movement and flow.
