A new "before and after" of Simba

So far we've had two shows with mr Simba.. and we've had two 2nds! I have to say I am incredibly impressed with his temperment... he has taken it all in his stride, and although not quite settled he hasn't done anything naughty. We have one more show this year to do, and while he's taking alot in (the shows we have include classes with cows, sheep, goats, ect happening right next to us) he will eventually prick the ears and be used to it all. So proud of the two of them... anyway.. I have an updated Before and After since he arrived with us

Wow, he's barely recognizable! And so cute with his little braids and little ears.

WOW! That looks like a different horse!! Did that huge thick coat shed out by itself, or did you clip him?

I just through a rug on him, gave him a tiny bit of grub every evening, darn near suffocated the poor chap with louse powder and gave him a few baths on nice days.

It's amazing what basic care can do for an animal

And thanks everybody, I'm dead chuffed with how he's turned out... I never would have thought we'd end up with him looking so well.

Oh my word, well done! What a change! What's he like off the lead rein? Or have you not tried that yet?!

Get up, get going, seize the day. Enjoy the sunshine, the rain, cloudy days, snowstorms, and thunder. Getting on your horse is always worth the effort.
