New Camera = New picures!!

Well, I finally broke down and bought myself a NICE SLR camera. I got a Nikon D3000 DSLR and a 55-200mm VR zoom lens to go with it.

So, of course I had to go out to the barn and take pictures...

I am posting the link to my photobucket, because it would take so long to upload all of them to here. So, click and enjoy!!

Tell me what you all think!!

Any comments are MUCH appreciated!

Very nice...your pictures will only get better as you really learn how to tweek and utilize your camera better

I have a Canon Rebel XT, and couldn't imagine not having a decent camera; I can definitely tell the difference between it and my smaller nikon powershot. The quality is so much better.

How do you like it, Jillyann? How much was it (if you don't mind me asking)? I am wanting to get a nice camera, since I do want to take up photography.

I absolutely LOVE this camera! It is SO easy to use (being sorta new, I havent had one problem with it!) , and has everything I wanted. The only thing is, it does not take video. But you can take 3 frames(pictures) per second..so if you want to catch a horse bucking, or something..you can get an awesome picture instead. I got a REALLY good package deal on the camera from Rowe. I got the camera and the lens that it came with, and an additional 55-200mm VR zoom lens, and a nice camera bag for it all, all for a little over $700. Without the deal it would have been easily $1,000.

Haha! When I bought my camera, my boyfriend came with me, and convinced the salesman to give him a discount on a camera that he wanted. A Nikon CoolPics. really nice camera as well. So we got 20$ off and a free 4gb memory card. hahaha
