New Camera!

Sooo..I got a new camera for christmas.(:
It's another Nikon and I'm still completely in love with them, haha.
I think the horses were having a good day as well, because I got more good pictures than I thought I would..Surprisingly.

I have a lot more to add, but this is what I've uploaded so far. :3

I believe you guys've only seen Ace and ST..but I soo wish Super could be mine, lol.

So, without further a-do:
Black paint is Superman.
Appy is Ace.
Sorrel is ST (aka Pretty Mare)
Two in the field are unknown, but across from my archery club there's a huge field with about 20-30 horses. I have a few other pictures of them as well.














^--We were working on bridling the past..15 minutes? Lol She has an issue with anything being put into her mouth because of an injury awhile back that BO used oral meds on..won't take wormer and found out that's why we STILL have issues bridling. I'm making sure to keep the bits warm before I put them in her mouth and take care not to hit her in the teeth no matter where she moves.

I hate him and love him at the same time..haha. He's now (Rose use to in her younger days) the only one that'll kick out at someone in the field (knows not to kick me because he won't be able to kick ever again...but, other people still have issues occasionally on his bad days)..But he's definitely the smoothest horse I've ever ridden, haha. And the fact that he's just beautiful :p

Here's Storm..he's BO's husband's horse. He's currently on a biting habit and terrorizing the herd when we have them all in the run in for something. I believe he's a Walker or Walker cross?


Here's Cassie, peekin' out from behind ST's butt, lol. Cassie was being boarded..but board hasn't come this month and I believe I heard that she was staying for good and not going back to her owners anymore. She came from the same place Ace did.

This is Rose and Cassie (left and right). Rose is the baby, her mama came on the trailer with Storm (not Storm's baby though). Mama was sold to a family friend's brother, along with Rose's brother. Rose is, I believe, 3 as of this past September. She enjoys instigating fights, as you can see, lol.


Here's a picture of the majority of the herd those other two are in..I'm really trying to find out who owns the property to see if he boards or if he has any work..lol.

Soo...only horse I'm currently missing a picture of is Buddy (supposedly retired, but I'm sure he'll be shown again this year, lol). And of course the mini, Star..but I swear she hates me and runs away when she sees me, haha.

I believe it's a Nikon D3100? Ill check and make sure when I get home.

Hopefully posting some more pictures tonight, going to go out to the barn before work. I planning on just doing some groundwork with ST today, so I'll have lots of time to take pictures. (;

We'll have some pasture pictures, chicken pictures, piggy pictures, and hopefully some dog pictures if they're out or the door is unlocked (been locking it lately because of neighbours coming in and stealing under garments.. o.o ).
And of course, can't go to the barn and not take HORSE pictures! Lol. I'll be trying to get mostly Bud pictures since I don't have any of him from last time somehow..He's finally retired this year (even though I think he still has another year or so left in him, easily, lol). 26yrs old and still winning barrel/pole/gaming classes. I don't like him, but I sure do respect that horse, he's definitely earned his retirement.

My next step is one of the real fancy ones with the changeable lenses.

But, I do have a commissioned photoshoot of 2 sisters either this weekend or the next. Im soo excited, its the first step in starting my own photography side business. (:
