New Filly Arrived!

One big thing to be thankful for, our new little warmblood filly arrived home last night.

This is Echo at 2 weeks old

Echo when she first moved to her new paddock

This "little" girl is actually quite big. My husband is 6'2 and she just shy of chest line.

you bought her? she came in that giant trailer? how old was she when you got her? I guess old enough to wean, right?

IN any case, she is quite pretty and looks like she'll mature into a very correct horse.

Okay, I show regionally all summer, every summer, and I have never seen a trailer that big..... Maybe its just the picture, but WOW. Could it just be because its compared to the giant truck? I don't know. The only time I've seen those trucks are when they are used to pull the local big Friesian studs. I'd hate to haul that thing, it would be really difficult. (especially to back!)

Anyway... Your new little girl is beautiful. Congrats!

Day 2

Great "little" filly is a darling. Settling so well. Super quiet and not heard bound at all, always waiting to follow your next instruction. I am soooo excited to work with her. Our other mare was SO PROTECTIVE of my hubby, when the filly came within range but they get along so well, she's very gentle towards the baby.

Now onto new photos

Now to give you an idea of how big she is, I'm 5'5 and this is where this filly reaches me
