    New horse (pic heavy)

    Bought him this past weekend.

    13 yr old QH gelding

Oby (I think I am going to rename him Toby)

He was a lesson horse, poor boy. He has rub marks from the halter but as soon as I get him to the place I board on Friday, he will no longer be wearing a halter all the time. Looks like he is low on the pecking order, he has a bunch of little horse bites on him.

He has the sweetest face!! I just love him! I know it's been tough, but he will make this a great journey for the both of you! Sounds like you two have already bonded!

Good luck keeping all that gray clean!!

    Thank you

He's had a long road as parade horse, a "Lone Ranger" Tribute Act horse (he played the part of "Silver" haha) and then as a lesson/trail horse.

Now he will he have a much easier life.

Its been a tough road for me too. For 8 months I tried to work on things with Angel and it just didnt work out. It still pains my heart that I sold her, but I think it was for the best.

It was so funny last night when I turned him out. His pasture friends went running around the back of the field and he couldnt see them anymore. He whinnied to them and they called back to him. He stood there looking out for them. I turned him around, took his lead line off and he turned back around towards them.

I said "Go ahead, go find your friends!" He then turned back around , walked up to me, I said again "Go on, its ok" and then he turned around and went running out to his friends.

    He's so handsome looking!

That's so cute how he wanted to stay by you instead of finding his friends.
