we interpret that as worried or frightened because of the downward line of the eyebrows (actually wrinkles ) . this is a human gesture.

I don't see fear or worry. The first thing I thought before scrolling down was "intelligent" but thats what I see in most horse eyes ;) ...agreed with MHF
