and this is sweetheart she has a lot of issues still

she is still in isolation due to strangles but is finally holding weight

You have to be careful with beetpulp though, because it has quite a bit of sand in it!

I am pretty sure that is a myth you've picked up from somewhere. We feed soaked beet pulp shreds like its going out of style, I use it to keep hay bills down and put weight on some of the rescues. The only thing I've heard about sand and beet pulp is that beet pulp prevents sand colic which I don't claim to be true but I've never heard of it having sand in it.
