    New Ponies!

So I have some new horses to work with now. :]

We were thinking of buying a horse, but honestly I have to agree that it just isn't the best time for us to get one. I'll be finished with high school soon and there's no way I could bring a horse to college so I think it's best that I just work with other people's horses until the time is right and I can get my own. So I'm thinking it'll be a couple of years until I get my own horse.

Anyways, I'm working with at least three horses right now. Their names are Buster, Houdini, and Turner. Buster is a draft pony standing just under 15 hands I think. He may be short but he's definitley BIG, ha ha. Houdini is a 15.2-15.3 hand QH and is SO unbelievably gorgeous. He's a very dark bay with a thin blaze down his face and is just too handsome for his own good. He was trained for reining and cutting and was a ranch horse before they got him. He's still getting used to smaller women riding him than big burly men so sometimes he gets a little fresh and needs to be put in his place. Gotta love him though. And the last is the teeny little 4 month old miniature horse, Turner. He is beyond cute! He's doing really well with his lead training and listens well for his age. He is also coming along nicely with picking up his hooves and letting us mess around with him. He'll be gelded as soon as possible, so no worries. ^.^

I only have some pictures of Buster and one of Turner but none of Houdini yet. I can't seem to figure out how to download them from my phone. Arg. But in the meantime here's Buster and Turner!

    Buster and his Mommy, Alicia.

    And Buster and Turner.
    How cute!

I'm definitley going to get more pictures as soon as I can.
You guys NEED to see Houdini. It'll just kill you how amazing he is.
With some tweaking he's going to be a GREAT horse.

    Buster!

    Houdini! <3

Don't nag me about the fencing please. I don't like it much either. It's electric and all the horses respect it. They're building better fencing, but in the meantime this works just fine. And Turner (the mini colt) is never turned out in the fields with the electric fencing. ;]
