New Project Horses! - Help Me Play "Guess The Breed"

Hey all!! I would like to introduce you all to Gallahad! He is my new project (and I am in love with him) His story: He was a NYC carriage horse, was a rescue, still a bit nervous, very green under saddle, will NOT stand to be mounted, and I get to spend the next 4 months training him on the ground and eventually under saddle! I am 100% in love with him already! He is GORGEOUS! They say he's a full Shire, but I don't think that's right, so ideas on breeding would be great! Thanks

P.s. I have more pictures on my other computer and will put them up later!

Weanling sounds like you are having a wonderful time at your winter barn. How old is Gallahad? What kind of stuff are you going to do with him? How tall is he? Its really cool that you get to work with him. Im looking forword to hear more about him when we chat online next time.

Gallahad is simply gorgeous! Looks to me like he has some Percheron in him.
Please keep us updated on his training.

Gallahad is 6 years old, he free jumps 3', though i've never free lunged him. He has some mounting issues so we're going to work on that before I do much with him, Apparently once you get on him he's fantastic, just getting on is the challenge. I want to do some dressage training with him this winter and show him first level in the spring.

Oh, I am in love!!! He is SO beautiful! No wonder you fell in love! I'd say Percheron or a Perch/QH cross.... You're lucky!
