I rode there once , and on an old race horse. He galloped so fast I was just frozen with amazement, and fear. But, it turned out all right and made for great memories.

I cannot decide which of those pictures is the best. Junior looks pretty snazzy when he lifts his neck and moves out.

Glad you had so much fun and shared it with us.

I think I like this one the best. It reminds me of something shot by a movie camera, moving along with a truck that is moving just parallel to you.

Wow! Such wonderful pics! Makes me wish I was there with my horses. My paint horse loooooves water. I wish we had a beach like this in our area. We have to settle for our creek. I get the same sense of flying when we gallop though the deep snow in winter. It almost makes me long for those silent, cold winter days and sparkling moon lit nights. So jealous...love the joy on all of your faces.

Thanks everyone! It was an amazing trip for sure and Junior behaved so much better than I thought he would. After we had been out there for a while and he had galloped and such I was just letting him walk around on a loose rein. He was responding really well to cues, he just didn't want to stand still at all! Lol. Silly old boy thought he was a three year old again.

Thank you Gallop On! Legacy is definitely gorgeous and her rearing has gotten really good. She even knows how to splash which is when she slams down so that she gets drafts4ever soaked! Lol.

In about April he did not look so good. That was before I paid to have a vet come out and do a full diagnosis, physical and blood test on him. She was able to explain exactly what type of feed he needed. We had him on beet pulp, rice bran, senior grain, etc. before and he just wouldn't gain weight. Now he is looking amazing. I will post a picture of him in April, I have never posted it cause I know people would freak. But he had just gone through a traumatic experience when an arena roof collapsed right beside his stall during a heavy snowfall this past winter. He drops weight at the drop of a hat it seems. But now he is thriving!

It is crazy because in February he looked like this:

And during this time his feed never changed, he just was stressed I think.

Thanks Gillian

You are so fortunate to be able to ride on the beach by the ocean. That's amazing. We had the chance to go out on trails in California wine country. Beautiful views. Loved the bikini
