So the other day I had some leftover watermelon from breakfast and since my horse LOVES watermelon I decided to take him out and give it to him. (which he was very thankful for ) And I decided to bring out the camera and take some photos while he was chilling with his friends Its so odd to see animals mix like this... IMO. Please, share some photos of your horses odd friends!
Oh, and sorry for the random picture of Dusty. (the pug) Him and the cat absolutly love each other!
Lol, this made me laugh The cat and his sister both have super de duper crossed eyes, it didnt show when we first rescued them but now that they have gotten older they look like freaks
Took some chunks about 2" across to fair one year, some horses liked it some didn't, but never thought of just stting down the end for them like a bowl. I'm gonna give it a try though, yours really seems to be relishing it.
Yes, he loves it during the hot summer months. And I usually just put it on the ground but that day I decided I wanted to put it into a bowl for him, as if its on the ground he cant manage to break the pieces cause when he pushses the watermelon around he cant find anything to keep it steady so He will pick it up and crack it into pieces on the fence, letting some of it fall on the other side... any way And thank you
I find a lot of odd pairings happen at my place. Guess I just have strange animals.
Here is Toby & his kitty he had our first couple years here. He groomed this cat and even picked him up by the tail once (tail was positioned where the bit would lay) and the cat didn't care.
Then there is Jasper & Tramp. Tramp believed he was a dog. He didn't hang out with the other ducks but rather followed the dogs around.
Haha these are cool I wish I had some pictures of our calf he thinks he is a dog. He goes for walks with my mum when she takes the dogs down to the dam. He also plays with the dogs.
@Cat LOL. That's awesome, I love the dog and the duck. Wish I had thought to get pictures of my mare when she was mothering last years chicks, that woulda been a nice addition on this thread.
I love having so many critters about, But I have to admit that they are not all mine. My sister and brother and his wife also live with me.
But most are mine. I do love that everyone get along. Missing in that pic is my ducks. And my kids also have a couple of pet rats and we just got a cow.
