Smile Oliver and his big brother Gator, very cute pictures!

When we moved into the barn my trainer was based out of in the beggining on October Oliver latched on to and bonded with another gelding, my trainer's older grand prix TB gelding named Gator. He is a funny guy, full of personalty as well as ticks, he has an oral fixation to have things in his mouth and tosses his head all the time. He is a wonderful teacher and the other younger girl (17yrs old) who rides in my lessons (we have become great friends) rides Gator. Sheleases him from our trainer and honostly it has been the best connection I have had in so long in the horse world, meeting my trainer, working with her, meeting her wonderful clients with their beuatiful well mannerd and awesome performance horses. But to this day Gator and Ollie have been attached to each other at the hip since day one.

They are the only two horses at our place the get turnout out as a pair, the graze togther, take turns rolling in eachothers muddy puddles, eat black berries togther, play togther, have lessons togther...everything but share the same stall. They are so good about it to, they don't get to rough ever they just seem to take care of eachother like they are long lost brothers. Its just so sweet to see my horse havea best friend, non of my other horses have ever attached and bonded so well and strong with another horse I have known at least not this much.

They are very sensiable about it though, they don't have herd seperation anxity when sepreated, they don't get into over sniffing eachother or any of that silly behavoir.

When I bring Gator in from tunrout with Oliver they walk up to the gate together and I can lead them in at the same time (somtimes gator tries to lead oliver) hehe! Oliver just is so clam and seems to not care at all that he is Gators chew toy, not in a bad way but in the sens he wil lick his blanket for a solid 30 minutes just standing there, he likes to lead oliver around by his halter in the pasture and he just takes in stride ( good things its a cheap halter) They are jus too cute togther, here are some aorable pictures to show you how much they love eachother!
