Once Again A One-horse Household

These are pictures of Sis and Abbe on their last night together It makes me sad, but Siskiyou wasn't getting the attention and use he deserved. He is his new owner's first horse but she has a wonderful support system and people to go to when she has questions. She was very excited and sadly picked him up today...

Saying goodbye is always the hardest but it's the joy of knowing they'll get more attention that makes it worth it!

Great photos, you really have an eye for photography

Great photos! You've got some great angles there! I think of how nice it would be to have a second horse, but honestly, I dont think I could do it. I only have so much time and energy, and when I go riding on a friend's horse, I never have the energy or time to work with my one.....so I know what you mean about that

Thanks you two!
Csimkunas- I know what you mean! We bought him originally for my sister and when she stopped riding I suddenly had two horses to ride and care for. I simply doent have the time and would rather put all my best efforts into one horse rather than only coming halfway to what each horse needs.

You're right, I certainly hope I never have to do it again! It has made me realize how important it is to research and work I need to put into purchasing another horse when the time comes in a few years. :)
