Thanks you guys

Muumi, I most definitely haven't aged as well as him. He's still just as spry as he was 15 years ago...whereas I'm starting to get crippled up and wrinkled already

.
MHFQ, I couldn't agree more

. I technically lost 2 of my herd this weekend. Olen now belongs to her and Jesse now belongs to my nephew (who lost his horse to colic last fall). BUT, I'm really glad to see them having a job instead of just standing around in my "retirement village".
Chick, you're right. In the older pix, it's Brother beside me on his donkey. In the newer pix, Brother is in the black hat and Dad is in the background in the white one.
I wondered how he would take the saddling LOL, he hasn't seen a saddle in about 20 years and he's been basically retired for over 15...just plodding around the pasture. I wondered if he would still have any fire in him like he did when we were young, but he's matured into more of a "controlled burn" since then. He was the first critter to ever buck me off

.
Ever since Jason talked about giving him to Bristen, we've all been getting a good laugh about how "only a damn donkey could survive raising 2 generations of kids from this family"
