Photos of The Colonel (even as a foal!)

lol

ommmm

13 year-old pics his breeder kindly sent me of him as a wee child. ;)

He's having x-rays of his front legs right now, though. A mixture of possible old injuries + having to overcompensate so much with his visibly shorter right leg, he has built up some scar tissue and arthritis. I'm obviously unable to be there in person, but am anxiously awaiting the phone call with the vet's findings.

What a looker! :)

Sending good vet vibes.

I love the foal pics.

He is gorgeous! Really lovely pictures. I recently got some baby pictures of my horse too, what a really wonderful thing to have!

I hope his x-rays come back ok! Keep us updated!

Thanks for the vibes!

Of course, the one time the vet is out here is the one time they couldn't get him to take so much as one bad step. Longeing him, palpating the joint, flexing...nothing elicited any pain or swelling. The vet told us she didn't want to take x-rays unless he was in visible discomfort. *sigh*
If it flares again, THEN we'll call her. But this has been off and on for a while. ): Maybe it's a soft tissue thing.

I have to call her back and talk with her in length, though, about what she thought about the leg unevenness. But I'll probably be getting a chiropractor out here regardless.
