Ok there are a lot of photos so lets get started

    27th October 2008

Rode three ponies today. It was sooooo hot so I started after 5pm, rode Angel first, she had her moments but we finished really well, did walk/halt/walk etc and bending. She is softening up nicely, just need to get out with her more and hope someone keeps it up. No pics of her cause the parents where busy.

Then I rode Comanche. Started in the paddock but he was not very good on the corners so I went into the round yard and he was wonderful. Wanted to canter him all day but we are slowly building him up. So pics...

Then it was Kai's turn. It was still so hot so we did some flat today, nice and easy. He was really good, had a couple wobbly moments but overall he was great!
Starting out and he was being a googly eyes at cockatoos and I like the light in this pic...

    Then we trot

    Stupid barrel

Kai's canter pics where kinda fuzzy cause the sun had set, but he had a great canter today too. I love my ponies :) Any critiques or comments welcome :)

If you made it through all those pics from today, here are some Violet Crumbles (choc covered honeycomb)... YUM!

Great photos and beautiful horses. You look very relaxed and to be a very good rider.
Cockatoos in the trees as in wild ones?

Yup, we have hundreds of cockatoos that flock to our house every morning and evening, my mother started to feed a couple pathetic looking ones a few years back and word got out... they are so loud and annoying, gah, I can't stand them but everyone who comes over thinks its great!

Thanks for the comments everyone :)

Wow, great pictures. You have two very handsome fellas there. Vida's right, you look really good and relaxed. Very much at home in the saddle.
