Photos of Willy in the herd on Jackson Ranch!

Thought I'd share some pics of Willy's home and friends...Here are some pics of the herd this morning. In this one he's checking out the scene. These horses aren't his usual crew, so he was a bit apprehensive:

Found his crew!

Here he is hooked up with his best bud Opie (buckskin on right)

Willy causing some drama

Who can I rumble with now?

The crew - there's about 15 other horses somewhere else on that 300 acres...

Willy and Autumn. What a dirty ol' man! Autumn's only 1 1/2, and he's 16!

Opie getting a good roll in...

View from the top of Jackson Ranch - Poverty Point. Great trail ride!

Oh yeah, he looooves it. All that space is great for exercise. And it let's them have their own life outside of being our pets! All the horses are super friendly...they pick certain places to chill in when there are so many other places that have fresh grass and shade. Too funny. They must like being close to the barn.

I would not want to have a horse that was hard to catch out there! LOL

Ha, they have a few favorite spots (why the grass is GONE), but sometimes they hide and if you choose to bring your horse in for the night, you have to hike around a bit to find them. It is so beautiful that it doesn't bother me to zone out trying to find Willy. He hasn't run away from me yet, which is good because I want him to get a good dinner after playing all day! He even ran up to me last night. Kinda cute :)
