You have beautiful horses!
I really love how this camera picks up depth and color, and I really like your sense of balance/composition. The only thing that I think could use a little work is the lighting, but it's a new camera and you're using natural lighting in the evening, when there's only really a small frame of time where it's the best, so don't worry. ;) I usually just edit with GIMP to get the shine out of black coats/ lighten and darken photographs. Not a fan of heavy editing, so usually I only mess with color/contrast/ etc a bit.
The ones I really like overall are the 8th one and 12th. I love the color and lighting in the background of the first, too!

I love your pics and I love Nikon dlsr's! Best thing about digital cameras is that you can take a million pics to learn your camera and it costs nothing. I'm from the days of 35mm and it could get expensive taking lots of shots even if you developed them yourself.

Thanks so much for the feed back and saying my horses are beautiful! I agree with on the color and depth this camera picks up well! I'm still figuring out this camera and all its settings! Im a not a big fan of editing either. I do like to put quotes on pic from time to time and making pics black and white or sepia is about all I do.

LOL Some horses just to do look purdy during the winter. My stallion, who I believe is stunning, always looks like a mangy teddy bear in the winter
