Pictures from Canada Day & 4th of July ... what did you and your equine do?

So this past weekend was Canada Day here, and yesterday was 4th of July in the States. So what did you and your equine buddy do to celebrate?

Me and Nikki were out giving pony rides at the Canada Day celebration, and if I do say so myself he looked quite handsome in his Canadian Flag. I got a good laugh to, as Nikki NEVER pulls back on his ties... like NEVER. A lot of the time I'll just drape his reins over a post when I need to run into the barn office to get something and he stands quiet. But for some unknown reason, minutes after I put on his brand new red halter for the first time he had to go and pull back on it, breaking the clip. Naughty horse!! Lol! But a little bailing twine made it functional again, and the kids loved getting rides on the "Canada Horse" XD

That's great, I am sure you made a lot of kids very happy with their rides!

We have a group of friends that the hubby and I do our local parades with, we all have miniatures. They are always a big hit with the crowds, young and old!
Here are a couple snaps from our 4th of July this year.

My Mini and I were in a Canada Day Parade. A few people asked for photos with him and he got so much attention. He was a very good boy

Thanks Paintluver, they are so tolerant!
I have a lot of fun thinking of "costumes" for all the different parades we participate in.
