Pictures from my lesson today, very pleased! [Picture Heavy.]

So today in my lesson, me and my trainer focused really hard on getting over a major problem I have with my horse: Riding him at the far end of the dressage ring.
The far end on the dressage ring is surrounded by forest, and my horse being tree-a-phobic gets so tense down there, and when my horse get tense he explodes. So my trainer had me ride him strictly at that end today, and through her advice and my relaxation he was an angel! Here are some pics:

Enjoy!

Gorgeous horse! It's so funny, my guy has that exact same problem, the far end fo the dressage arena near the trails that's all open and tree-ish and scary.

It's so awesome to hear about how well you are doing those are great pictures! Congratulations, I hope he continues to improve!

My guys going through training for it, and part of the training is that before my lesson my trainer gets on him, rides him through those areas, then trades places with me and tells me what she did to make him behave in those spots and stay relaxed. Very helpful.

Yesterday was my fiirst time taking a lesson down their with her during his new training regime, and she asked me what his major issues were down their, and of course I said the far end of the dressage ring, she made me stay in a circle up their the whole time! It was great for both me and my horse.

You guys look beautiful up against that green background! I have a mini that stands near the woods(in them) so none of the big guys bother him!!!

Thanks everyone!
@chella- He looks whiter than he really is in this picture for some reason, he has heavy flea bites and had rolled on one side and I didn't get to bath him till after the ride, but he looks bright white in the pictures, haha!
