Pictures from the saddle

I've just recently figured out how to post pictures and since most of the time I ride alone I have a lot of pictures of my horses ears. I thought I'd share a few. Feel free to do the same.

There's nothing like the Rockies in the springtime... Nothing like the freedom in the air... And there ain't nothing better than draggin calves to the fire and there's nothing like the smell of burning hair. -Brenn Hill

It's funner to look at than it was to take! I really didn't want to get out of bed that morning.

Gorgeous pictures. Did I mention that I love your dog? I've always been partial to loud colored ones like that .

It's settled. Come spring, I am going to pack up a couple of horses and show up on your doorstep some morning. That landscape is stunning. I would do it now except I don't think I could survive winter up there LOL.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Beautiful scenery Kevin. Have to admit to a bit of jealousy there. Gotta love good ol' Indiana with it's flat land, corn fields & bean fields. Here's one from this past week, the only thing pretty about it is that we still have that grass and it's almost December. We've lucked out with weather this fall, but 30 degree highs are coming next week

Utah is gorgeous, depending on where you go. Great pics Kevin!

Here's a picture of a bison calf that was orphaned and raised on a bottle then adopted by this mare. The mare has no milk but the calf nurses just the same and the mare acts like the calf is her foal. She has never had a foal.

How difficult is it to keep horses out there? Super expensive due to lack of quality pasture, or not that bad?
