    Please Meet Ellie. :)

She is my newest edition. Although she came from a family who loved her very much, she's got a bone cyst on her left front leg which causes her to limp and after caring for her for many years, they have decided to place her in a new home.
Tomorrow I'm in contact with her old vets to see if they think that surgery might be an option to help relieve some of the discomfort so she can move more freely.
She is a gorgeous mare, exceptionally well bred, and I am really contemplating doing an embryo transfer next year with her and another of my mares.
She's a big sweet doll, albeit a bit shy due to so many people handling her leg, but we'll get over that. :)
    Here is her pedigree:

And without furthur adu, here she is. :)

Here are a couple of leg shots, so you guys can see what I mean by her bone cyst.

She's definitely pretty. I hope that surgery will help her feel better. Poor girl.

    Thanks!
I'm still not sure yet if surgery is even an option given her condition, but I'm sure crossing my fingers. It's hard to see her out there limping behind everyone.

Pretty little mare, but she does get around fairly well! How did she do when I drove away with Tana?

    Oh, you bully!
She cried and cried, ran to the end of the fence...Which I felt bad for because it was a really awkward looking lope...lol
But I have Khandi and Khara in with her right now and they've buddied up good, so her poor hearts on the mend...

Glad to hear! Tana didn't even realize that she had left her! Came right back home and took over the herd again! LOL

When we went riding and left her she was loping around the pasture, pretty darn awkward looking, but she wouldn't do it if she didn't think she could!
