So this is totally belated, they aren't the best quality and they weren't my horses, but I had a LOT of fun out in the cold and rain at the Dressage show at Poplar Place. If you live anywhere near Columbus, GA, I suggest visiting them -- the owner is absolutely fantastic and the place is GORGEOUS. I volunteered on the XC course the 20th as a jump judge and had an obscene amount of fun...was too busy marking everything down to take pictures, though. It's a shame, because what a vantage point! I'm totally going to volunteer again next time I head out that way, it was a blast.
If you visit their website the professional photographer took a lot better pictures, but I wanted to share these with you guys. :) I hope that's okay!
I took that with a PHONE. Stiill not perfect, but hahahaha, I was incredibly pleased. Now on to the ones that I had to take on full zoom from a vantage...
...as it turns out, I'm awful at cropping and it takes ten minutes to get each picture finished. So that's all there is for now. ;) I hope they provide some enjoyment~.
my friend rides at poplar place! The picture of the sorrel/chestnut horse looks like my friends horse.. but considering I havent seen him in about a year I can't tell.. haha.. but good pictures!
That's awesome, ha! It's an awesome place, isn't it? Oh, really? I'll go have a look and see if I can't find any pictures of his face, that might help with recognition of he had any markings. :) Awww, thanks, though!
