Just thought it would be interesting for you guys to see how we hande cattle here in AUS - Not too many photos as I was busy!
So - I saddled Bundy up and dad jumped on the four-wheeler and we went down to Glenmoor. We went up the paddock and brought in a new mob of herefords - They had never seen a horse before so spent the whole time goofing around trying to look at Bundy instead of going where they were meant to! We took them down to the yards and yarded them, then sat down to wait for our vet, Jan, to come.

The cattle waiting in the yard:
Bundy all sweaty after bringing them in:
The race and crush that we use to do any handling/doctoring:
A cow with her head in the crush:
So that's all the photos. Jan was preg-testing, Dad was needling the ones who were in calf, and I was getting their number off the eartags right inside the right ear - They don't like you playing with their ears! One cow flipped her head and got snot in my eye, lol. Dad was a bit disappointed with the new cows - Only 10 of the 15 were in calf.
