Here is the first horse that I ever called "mine". (I'm in front in this pic) Buck was the best horse ever but unfortunately, he had to be put down a few years ago at 26 years old.
And here are my current horses.
Denny, 15.......Oh crap, I guess he's 16 now. And he was the first horse that I ever trained completely by myself.
Here is Pokey, he is technically my Dad's but I bought him.
Here is darling Flash, he helped raise me after Buck got too old for me.
He is 27 years old now though.
Here is a pic of Flash from back in his Glory Days
Here is Nester, he is the horse my Step-Mom rides. We think he is around 15 but not sure.
And just for grins and giggles, here are a few that have come and gone from our barn in the last 20 years.
This is Sis (Betsy). She was my brothers horse but she was put down this last fall.
This was a mare that I called Storm that I finished up for a customer.
This is a horrible picture but this was Taco (a Doc O'Lena grandson)
This was Frosty, an old gray mare that was a regular fixture at the house for about 30 years.
This was my first horse picture. This was one of Dad's reining horses.
This is String's Dagwood. We sold him to a friend as a kid horse. He was awesome.
LeDandy Bar (Impressive granson and half brother to Flash)
Rio Leo Superstar
Scotch Judge (heading)
There have been a few thousand others but none of them that I knew very well. These were the only ones that I was really around much growing up.
