Really REALLY old show pix. Appys and a QH.

I was looking around the other day and found some really old pictures of horses that my Dad used to show. All the Appys belonged to the Sandhill Appaloosa Farm in KS. The buckskin is the QH that I learned to ride on. I graduated to him when I was about 4. Just thought you might enjoy. All these pix are from the late 70's and early 80's. Sorry, the color is faded and a little off. :)

Mi Velvet Touch (I think she was a halter horse)

American Quest (shown in halter, calf roping, and Jr. WP)

Tumbleweed Devil (mainly shown in Sr. WP) Dad also used to show his son Devilweed but I don't have any pix of him.

Baron Von John (reining, working cow horse, and team roping)

Those are so cool! I love looking at old pictures and seeing how things change. It's amazing how much things change just in ten years or so! The show clothes, the 'correct' position, how the horses are ridden, and all of that stuff. Those horses are so beautiful!
