Vic and Norman playing around...

I want to do dressage with Norman but everyone thinks I'm crazy. My mom said it would be like putting a tutu on an elephant. Do you guys think it's unrealistic? I think he'd be decent at it. It would be funny to do a perfect half pass or flying change in front of the people who pick on him for being too big. Lol

I say go for it! I've seen many many many pictures of drafts in dressage, I think I even have a HI article about it, though finding it might be easier said than done.
And btw, he is GORGEOUS!! So shiny and muscular, I have a crush! Lol

Both of your boys are very handsome! I have to agree with the other members, go ahead and try dressage with him. I've seen many draft crosses at local shows and they do quite well.

Thanks everyone!
The hardest part will be actually finding a good trainer. My current one only does hunter jumper.

Gorgeous boys!
I schooled a Percheron/Friesian in basic dressage and had a friend who did both jumping and dressage with a 3/4 Belgian so why not?
Dressage is about gradually strengthening the horses ability to do a range of natural movements that require great physical strength and a good partnership between horse and rider, He'd be gorgeous.
