Reminiscing and some new Sour pictures!

Most of these are actually from a few months ago, before her preggo belly was starting to show- but I just got them from a friend who took them from me and I think they're super cute so I thought I'd show you guys!

This is the only recent one from a few weeks ago (preggo belly >)
. The others are all older. Obviously its edited but I thought it was adorable anyways. The others are raw.

Then my friend sent me a picture of Sour and I driving, FINALLY- and it made me think about the past year or so and our wild ride as we learned together how to drive, so I found some pictures that I figured I would dig up and show you guys.

We began like this. A tiny, ugly horse with no friends and no job ;)

But I was willing to work with her!

    And work some more.

It took a long time, but it was worth it! Because the end result? Its something that takes my breath away <3

Well....she does anyways. I, on the other hand- make myself want to puke XD please ignore my hair...ahahaha.
    Wallaby and waresbear like this.

Thanks! Its still really iffy. Thankfully we havent had any rain in since yesterday morning so some of the water is starting to drain off. We still can't bring the horses back though, its too risky. If all goes well we'll have them back by Thursday or Friday though, and start rebuilding the bridge.

Thanks everyone! I love looking back at the last three years, and seeing how much we've bonded.

Csimkunas and Roperchick- I know o.o I keep forgetting that she's pregnate and drive out to the barn thinking 'today is perfect for driving!' then comes the realization that even if I didnt feel guilty for making her do anything more than walk, she wouldnt even fit between the shafts if I tried XD she's huge! Its so funny though. She knows that I feel bad for her in all of this heat and that she can sucker lots of hosings and treats from me, and she uses that to her advantage! After some light walking on the trails or a bit of ground work (mostly just pressure yielding, not even moving much!) she'll start breathing really hard and hanging her head in the grass going 'oh mama I'm just SO exhausted I don't think I even have the strength to graze. You'll have to bathe and hand feed me' but the second I bring out a treat or something catches her attention, her breathing goes right back to normal and she perks right up xD crazy girl!

As for the baby, I'm still crossing my fingers for a chestnut colt! Which is funny...I always did hate chestnuts until Sour.

XD nope! She barely fits in it at 225 pounds and slimmed up, much less 260 and as you say 'double wide!' ahahaha

Tiny- Thank you so much! I think she is too xD much better than the butt-high,ewe necked, man biting monster from a few years ago.
