Riding pics of me and Shea

Some pictues that my friend took the other day while i was riding. I know it looks like i'm hanging off his mouth, but I'm just starting to work him with a contact, and he doesn't like it much. I've since been doing some softening exercises with him and he's been doing much better and is much more accepting. He even collected for a few strides this morning, and held himself properly even when I gave him a loose rein!!! It made my day, lol.

He is gorgeous. I'm so jealous. =)

And I love his mane. It's like, right in between standing up and trying to lay down. haha

One man's wrong lead is another man's counter canter.

Thanks!
His mane lays down when he's still, and kinda stands up when he moves faster than a walk. It's kind of odd, b/c down near his whithers it falls straight down, but the closer it gets to his mane, the more it points towards his nose/points straight along his neck. I'll have to post of picture of it.
