Riding on snow in Rachaya-Lebanon

Hi everybody
I woke up this morning and was surprised to find everything covered with snow (around 50 cms). I went to feed my horses and when it snow stopped falling I had a ride on my Haflinger. Unfortunately, the batteries died before my cousin rode on my Arabian.
In the photos you can see the view from my bedroom balcony, some photos from around my house and stable, a photo of my 10 month old dog who refuses to stay inside when it's snowing, and photos of me riding.
It was his first time on the snow and had lots of difficulty convincing him to move. Any darker area like footsteps or a creek of water or seven where cars have moved were places he didn't want to cross. I was on his back for three hours and had to be tough and consistent with him before he finally got used to it.

Unfortunately, all I can see is a little box with a red X in it, not pictures! Would love to see them if you can get them to show up.

I don't think your computer likes the pictures, they are working OK on mine. I have Vista on mine. Otherwise, I don't know!

Love the dog looking at you like "what"? The horse and the snow is soooo pretty!!!! I wish it would snow a little here this winter, just for picture reasons!

Beautiful pics. Must be nice to ride in the snow with no GLOVES! If I did that here, I would lose a finger or 2 to frostbite.
